Research

Materials

Materials research here spans four connected efforts: nuclear and energetic materials qualified for extreme environments, electrochemical materials for storage and conversion, electronic and optical materials, and the discovery and characterization methods that accelerate all three. The work is anchored by the MU Materials Science and Engineering Institute and by MURR’s irradiation and characterization capabilities.
